Short Bio

Claudia Berti approached music from chilhood and studied piano from the age of nine. Since then she has immerced herself in the study of classical, ancient and contemporary music, graduating in piano and harpsichord and adding the study of ancient and liturgical organ repertoire.

She has a unique expressive figure on the piano as on the haprsichord, that comes through a special attention to the touch and the sharp articulation of the notes and a search for soft and sensual sounds which are attending in the ancient repertoire recordings of J. J. Froberger, J. Dowland and J. P. Sweelinck and contemporaries as J. Marchal, N. Frahm, Ó. Arnalds,  M. Richter and J. Jóhannsson.
